Европейское финансирование солнечных проектов: что актуально в 2026 году

Programs change, deadlines pass, and the terms and conditions are hard to understand. Here's what's actually on the table in 2026—in plain language.

For Businesses and Investors: RENEWFM 2026. The European Mechanism for Financing Renewable Energy supports ground-mounted photovoltaic power plants with batteries in the regions of Pernik, Kyustendil, and Stara Zagora. The budget was €55 million and applications closed on 3 September 2026. If you have a suitable site in these regions, start preparing now — a solid project takes months and a further call is expected.

For households: a new call for applications is expected. The first call under the “Renewable Energy for Households” program covered up to 70% of the system’s cost (up to €7,700) for photovoltaic systems up to 10 kWp with a battery. A new call is expected—and here’s an important lesson from the first one: those who were prepared were the ones who succeeded. The site survey, project design, and documentation can be ready before the call is announced.

For small and medium-sized businesses: The program for solar panels and batteries in coal-mining regions (up to 65% grant funding) ended in March 2026, but new opportunities are expected under the programs for the 2021–2027 period.

What should you do today? First, check whether your property is even eligible — this is free. Second, prepare your documents in advance. We monitor all programs and notify our clients on the day they’re announced. This is part of the service, not an extra.

Update (August 2026): the full review of open and upcoming instruments, including for charging infrastructure, is in Funding for Charging Infrastructure and Green Investments 2026.
