A hybrid system with an inverter and battery storage has been installed, ready for the future addition of photovoltaic panels. At this stage, the system uses lower-cost nighttime electricity to supply energy during the day, reducing costs while allowing for easy future expansion.
The main challenge was to optimize electricity costs even before the planned photovoltaic system was built. The client was looking for a solution that would take advantage of the lower nighttime rate, reduce consumption of expensive daytime electricity, and at the same time be ready for the future integration of solar panels.
We installed a hybrid system with a 16-kW single-phase inverter and two 16-kWh batteries, which stores electricity during off-peak hours and uses it during the day. This solution reduces costs from day one and is designed to accommodate the future addition of solar panels once a suitable space is built.
After the system was launched, electricity bills decreased significantly, thanks to the effective use of the difference between daytime and nighttime rates. The batteries store the cheaper nighttime energy for use during the day, and even at this stage, the system is generating real financial savings, with the potential for even greater savings once the solar panels are added.

Part of the photovoltaic system is installed on the client’s bitumen roof, while the remaining panels are mounted on a sandwich-panel canopy. This allows the available roof space to be used to its fullest, resulting in a more efficient use of the entire area.
For a family home in the Manastirski Rid area of Varna, we installed a 10.4 kWp hybrid photovoltaic system and a 16 kWh energy storage battery. The solar panels are distributed across three slopes of the tiled roof to maximize the use of available space and achieve more uniform power generation throughout the day. The system is equipped with a Deye hybrid inverter, a V-TAC battery, and a separate distribution panel. The energy generated during the day powers the home’s current consumption, and any surplus can be stored and used in the evening or when there isn’t enough sunlight.
