A hybrid photovoltaic system installed on a garage roof in Varna, providing additional energy for a laser cutting and 3D printing business. The system includes a hybrid inverter and two 15 kWh batteries and also supports electric vehicle charging.
The customer's business involves equipment with high electricity consumption, including laser cutting machines and 3D printers. Regular charging of electric vehicles also places an additional load on the system, increasing overall electricity consumption and costs.
We used the available space on the garage roof to install the solar power system and combined it with a hybrid inverter and two 15-kWh batteries. This allows the energy generated during the day to be used directly by the business or stored for periods of higher consumption and for charging the cars.
Once operational, the business has its own energy source and a 30 kWh battery capacity, which covers most of its daily energy consumption. This reduces the amount of energy purchased from the grid, optimizes costs, and allows for more efficient charging of electric vehicles using self-generated solar energy.
