A 10.9 kWp rooftop photovoltaic system installed for a car wash in Varna. The system consists of 20 × 545 W solar panels and a grid-tied inverter, with the generated energy used directly to cover the facility’s daytime electricity consumption.
The car wash has a constant electricity consumption during the workday, when the machines and equipment are most active. The customer was looking for a way to reduce its ongoing electricity costs.
We installed 20 photovoltaic panels, each with a capacity of 545 W, on the unused portion of the car wash roof and connected them to a grid-tied inverter. Since peak electricity consumption coincides with the hours of solar power generation, the system is designed for maximum direct self-consumption, without batteries.
Once the system is operational, a portion of the electricity needed during the day is generated directly on site. This reduces the amount of energy purchased from the grid, lowers the car wash’s operating costs, and allows the available roof space to be used effectively.
